Overview

We have all experienced the magic of reading or hearing a compelling story. Storytelling has been used by cultures throughout history as a means of passing fables and knowledge from one generation to the next. It has wide application throughout education and can encompass anything from the creation of fictional tales to the retelling of historical events. Digital Storytelling is the 21st century, multimedia version of this traditional art. Given its built in microphone, camera, and inherent mobility, the iPad is an excellent tool for the creation of digital stories. In this webinar, join Sam Gliksman as he looks at a number of engaging iPad activities that enable students to weave together different media and express themselves creatively across the curriculum. If you have an iPad, feel free to have it handy during the webinar. Presented by Sam Gliksman, "iPad in Education for Dummies"

If he has written a book for dummies, I'm sure tons of people have bought it! In this webinar, Sam has been so clear and so enthusiastic about showing what digital story is and the apps we can use. Thanks a bunch! :)
