It was a great reminder that ELL students are often translating in their heads and it is easy for them to get behind in a lesson or miss parts because of this. Being able to record the lesson and come back to it is great! Hearing text read is super for fluency and use of words. I also liked the Skitch app where they can create their own flashcards and make them meaningful to them. Awesome!
Definitely will apply activities mentioned in the session.
Definitely great and fun ideas to for ELL students of all ages.
