A good reminder of basic strategies talked about and commonly taught early on for educators. Some of the items discussed earlier in the video are clearly meant more for an Elementary Classroom (though they can be adjusted for Middle and High School).

Great ideas! I try to create a good rapport with my students right from the beginning. I agree that it is very important to be on good footing with them.
