Adobe Voice: Record, Reflect, Revise!
Overview
Being able to record your students as they speak can be a valuable teaching tool - whether it's for public speaking, foreign language practice, class presentations, retelling of digital stories, or something else. Join Avi Spector as he shares how to use Adobe Voice, a free iPad app that allows students to easily create a short video story with visuals and a voiceover. He will show how Adobe Voice can be used to provide students with the opportunity for immediate feedback and the ability to re-record and revise as they go along. Because it is so easy to use, the focus is on speaking and storytelling, not fiddling with the technology! In addition, Avi will provide student worksheets and suggestions for feedback and evaluation. He will focus primarily on the use of Adobe Voice in a language classroom context, but will also give suggestions of how it could be used for other subjects.
