Content Creation: iPad Apps for the Special Needs Classroom
Overview
The latest version of the iPad is equipped with a camera capable of capturing both high resolution images and video. Like previous versions, it also has a built-in microphone that can be used to record audio for podcasts and other digital story telling projects. Using these content creation tools, students can more fully express their creativity, and teachers can present information in a way that meets the needs of diverse learners. In this webinar, Luis Perez will share a number of iPad apps that leverage the unique content creation features of the device in order to implement key principles of Universal Design for Learning. Participants will learn how to use the iPad to provide multiple and flexible means of representation for content, as well as multiple means for students to show what they have learned.
