The SAMR model (Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition) provides teachers with a framework for making informed decisions about the use of educational technology in the classroom. Join Deb Norton for this time-saving, to the point session as she shares the four elements of the SAMR model along with interactive opportunities using Nearpod to engage in discussion about the use of the model. You will also walk away with a variety of resources that will help you effectively use the SAMR Model to transform your teaching practices and enhance student learning outcomes.
Participants will have collaboration and sharing opportunities throughout the session to demonstrate their understanding of the workshop objectives and reflect on their learning.
