Workshop Description:
Have you had students scribbling in their notebooks during class only to find that they are not taking notes but doodling? Do you know there are surprising benefits to doodling? Join Chrissy Romano-Arrabito for this hands-on, interactive workshop as she shares the benefits of sketch noting in the classroom. She will discuss how to introduce the concept of visual notetaking to your students, how to get started with sketch noting, and creative ways to infuse sketch noting in the K-12 classroom. Participants will also walk away with a set of resources that can be modified for use in any grade level or subject area.
