Join Chrissy Romano-Arrabito for this hands-on, interactive workshop as she shares her toolbox of strategies for creating a captivating and engaging learning environment! Participants will also walk away with a side deck full of ideas, samples, and done-for-you templates that can be used in your classroom the very next day.

  • Design a content area or grade level specific activity that will keep students focused, eager, and on task in the classroom.

  • Special Technology Instructions:
    Participants will need access to an internet device and a non-school, personal Google account. SimpleK12ís Google Classroom will be utilized for the interactive and hands-on components of this workshop.

    Participants will have collaboration and sharing opportunities throughout the workshop to demonstrate their understanding of the workshop objectives and reflect on their learning.

    pass the plate and beat the teacher will be great to bring into my classroom this next year!
    I thought the workshop was very enlightening, especially a variety of quick, low prep strategies that will create a captivating and engaging learning environment for students. I can use some strategies with older students.
    Good presentation. Clear. Love the Google Classroom part. Most of the ideas are geared more towards younger kids, but some games could work for older students as well.
