Overview

Session Description:
Since the start of the pandemic, young people have struggled to stay on top of their academics, attend extra-curricular activities, and adjust to the loss of social support. Although we are working through these challenges, some after-effects remain, including test anxiety. Join Tamara Hill, Licensed Child & Family Therapist and Certified Trauma Therapist, as she shares how to recognize the signs of test anxiety and strategies for discussing it with your students. You will also walk away with resources to support students and families in managing test anxiety.

Learning Objectives:
  • Explain how to recognize the signs of test anxiety and strategies for discussing test anxiety with students.
  • Discover resources to support students and families in managing test anxiety.

  • Assessment:
Participants will join a collaborative backchannel chat and discuss test anxiety to demonstrate their understanding of the session objectives and reflect on their learning.
