Ten Ways Teachers Can Support Students at the End of the Year (Part 2)
Overview
Session Description:
Keeping students engaged at the end of the school year can seem like a monumental task - especially once you are finished with high-stakes testing. Join Michelle Dragalin as she shares a variety of strategies (that do not involve projects or worksheets) to end the school year in a way that is both meaningful for students and manageable for teachers. You will also have access to a lesson plan template that will have you and your students sailing through the final days of school and into the summer break.
Learning Objectives:
Identify ten ways to end the school year that are both meaningful for students and manageable for teachers.
Create an end of the year lesson plan that will engage students for the remainder of the school year.
Assessment: Participants will create an end of the year lesson plan to demonstrate their understanding of the session objectives and reflect on their learning.
