10 Tips to Stay Inspired and Motivated as an Educator

Workshop Description:
Let's face it - in today’s world, being a teacher is an incredible challenge. Beyond the day-to-day of teaching, grading and being a life coach to ALL students, teachers are faced with students with behavioral or family issues, learning disabilities, and so much more. Join Naomi Harm as she shares ten tips for staying on top of your teaching and learning game that will inspire you to show up as your best self each day! Participants will also have an opportunity to create their own personalized learning experience that they can immediately use in their personal and professional lives as well as a model for their students.

Learning Objectives:

Use technology to create, adapt and personalize learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs.

Model and nurture creativity and creative expression to communicate ideas, knowledge, or connections.

Special technology instructions: Participants will need access to an internet device and a non-school, personal Google account. SimpleK12’s Google Classroom will be utilized for the interactive and hands-on components of this workshop.

Assessment: Participants will complete an inclusive opening and an optimistic closing activity as well as share their completed digital projects to demonstrate their understanding of the workshop objectives and reflect on their learning.
