This is session three of six for the series titled The Ultimate Tips - Tricks and Technology Teaching Hacks!

NOTE: While we recommend that you attend all sessions of the workshop series to meet the learning objectives, each workshop can be attended as a standalone. Full members will also have access to view the recordings on-demand and earn up to six continuing education credits.

Workshop Description:
Did you know that TikTok’s bite-sized video content can help educators deliver key academic concepts while their students learn anytime, anywhere? Join Naomi Harm as she shares innovative teaching strategies for using the TikTok video platform to design and deliver bite-sized micro-lessons that can help you connect with your students and make an instant learning impact. Participants will also have an opportunity to create their own personalized learning experience that they can immediately use with their students.

Learning Objectives:

Use technology to create, adapt and personalize learning experiences that foster independent learning and accommodate learner differences and needs.

Manage the use of technology and student learning strategies in digital platforms, virtual environments, hands-on makerspaces, or in the field.

Special technology instructions: Participants will need access to an internet device and a non-school, personal Google account. SimpleK12’s Google Classroom will be utilized for the interactive and hands-on components of this workshop.

Assessment: Participants will complete an inclusive opening and an optimistic closing activity as well as share their completed digital projects to demonstrate their understanding of the workshop objectives and reflect on their learning.
