This was very helpful! Thank you!
I mentor a struggling reader who will start 5th grade this fall. I started working with him twice a week for 30 minutes at the end of a busy very schedule of teaching art classes. I did not have any energy left for an additional task in the beginning and then I started looking forward to these mentoring sessions! He has vastly improved and is now reading on a 5th grade level. This has been an extremely rewarding experience for me.
