Six Co-teaching Models (Part 2)

Great information!!!

An effective tutorial of the various models of co-teaching, thank you! Concerns, that I have about this co-teaching method include the obvious and vital need for excellent oversight by effective mentors to guide new co-teachers; and a lot of extra planning time together for the co-teachers; without which, co-teaching seems as if it will place far too much planning, grading, evaluating of students upon one, or the other teacher, who may feel forced to take the lion's share of the workload upon themselves. These seem to be pitfalls which need to be addressed and planned for ahead of time, long before implementing co-teaching throughout a school. If these foundational issues are not taken care of before implementation, I would imagine that co-teaching becomes very frustrating, and not nearly as effective as it could be, for everyone involved, students and staff alike.
