It was great! It was a good reminder that some of this trauma can be generations long, to not
minimize or exaggerate the trauma, be empathetic, actively listening, asking short clarifying questions.
 
I have learned staggering facts about childhood trauma. Who knew that people can experience secondary trauma from in utero exposures from the mother? Crazy!
