Overview

Have you ever listened to podcasts or considered creating them yourself? Podcasts can be a cool way for educators to reflect upon their own professional practice. They can also be used to document student learning, to provide a space for students to develop and hone real-world skills, or to connect students with individuals who work within a field they're interested in pursuing. Join Dr. Will Deyamport, III as he shows how easy it is to set up and record a podcast. In addition, he will provide concrete examples of how you and your students can use them to enhance learning.

I really like the idea of podcasts - I think they would be great for 'book reviews' so that others could listen and be helped in their choosing of books from the library - a way to encourage reading! Always good.

Interesting information; thanks for sharing.

I think I'd like to try it!

I really like the idea of using podcasts in the classroom! I can think of a few units I teach now that could easily incorporate podcasts.
