Every day adults, as well as students, are inundated with technology, from the latest social media posts, messages, and instant notifications, to digital tasks performed for school and work - all of which add up to an ever-increasing number of hours spent in front of a screen. But just how much technology is too much? How much is too much for our kids? What are the impacts of increasing technology on brain development in children? What are the impacts of technology on our democracy and society? Do EdTech product developers have a responsibility here?

Join Dawn Berkeley as she explores these questions and others related to technology use. She will also discuss what EdTech leaders and teachers can do to facilitate innovative, but responsible technology use. In addition, Dawn will share some tips that will help you and your students balance screen time and make your use of technology more humane.
