Teaching about Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Phys Ed and Health Classes
Overview
Because of the activities involved and the topics covered in Physical Education and Health classes, these classes may pose unique challenges for some students. But these classes also provide us with unique opportunities to teach students about equity, diversity, and inclusion. Join Justin Schleider as he shares how you can help the students in your Phys Ed or Health classes learn to be more equitable and inclusive and to appreciate diversity. Among other things, he will provide tips and suggestions for discussing race, gender, and sexuality.
