One Device Doesn't Fit All: Choosing the Right Tools for the Job
Overview
Frequently our students are given access to specific devices or technologies and then asked to complete assignments using those same devices - often in ways for which those devices were not designed. In today's world of interoperability, there is little reason to cling to the practice of limiting classroom technology to a single approved platform, which can make it difficult for educators and students to complete all of their work. Join Susan Brooks-Young as she explores why no single device is going to meet the needs of all members of the school community and suggests strategies for providing students and educators access to multiple technologies so they can choose the best tool for every task.
