Overview

Would you like to improve personal well-being while giving your students a way to manage their own emotional, social, and academic success? Consider implementing Social Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies and practices for yourself and your classroom. Join Chuck Fisher, PhD as he shares specific methods for your own wellness, embedded within classroom practices and a "common language" that creates a transformation in students' own social and emotional success. All of us have an innate capacity for resilience, self-mastery, and empathy. Chuck will explain how the simple metaphor of "Tools" inside us provides immediate access to innate skills for being our best selves and transfers quickly to all contexts in our lives.

Nice work

nice work

A good reminder of the importance of leaving the problems at school and to take care of our emotional needs in order to recharge and take care of ourselves so we can educate and keep building relationships with our trauma kids at school.

In following the provided link, it appears that Dovetail Learning has completely revamped this program and abandoned the "toolbox" metaphor that was outlined in the webinar. The content is most likely still there in a different format but it's no illustrated so that it could be seen in fifteen minutes of exploring the site...

I think this has a great deal of good information. I wonder why this wasn't divided into more than one webinar. There are several reviews citing the length as a barrier to absorbing the material. I definitely want to learn more about this topic and the curriculum mentioned.

Wonderfully presented. The vocabulary is user kid-friendly. Great example of the 3rd grader using the language.

Wonderful! I already utilize a lot of these concepts with just different vocabulary. I followed my heart and it is working. Thank you for making a "common language". I would like to learn more about this SEL according to your research.
