Overview

The Understanding by Design (UbD) framework, which is also referred to as backwards design, provides a sequential and purposeful process for curriculum design. If you want to be more intentional in your planning, UbD can help. In this webinar, Dr. Jayme Linton will walk you through the three stages of the backwards design process and share tips and examples to help you with your own curriculum and lesson planning. Although not required, you may want to first view the companion webinar, "Understanding by Design Framework: An Intro," which provides an overview of UbD and explains the benefits of backwards design.
