Diversity and Inclusion: Anti-Bias Framework
Overview
Are you looking for ways to include anti-bias curricula and instructional strategies that help students develop a sense of justice and an acceptance of diversity? The Anti-Bias Framework (ABF) is a set of anchor standards and age-appropriate learning outcomes divided into four domains: Identity, Diversity, Justice, and Action. Join Megan Fuciarelli as she discusses these standards and explores how they can be used for curriculum alignment as well as a backdrop for a more equitable environment. She will explain how the ABF can be used to reduce prejudice and advocate for collective action. In addition, Megan will cover how it varies for different age groups, and provide possible lesson plans to discuss difficult topics. Come change the way you look at Anti-Bias education and how you can provide a more equitable environment for your students.
