Overview

The Special Education classroom should be the place in the building that offers the most support and accommodations to a learner's needs. Many times, however, this is not the case. Join Valerie Lewis as she focuses on how teachers and schools can easily offer those supports and accommodations. She will share a variety of tech tools that allow students a choice and a voice based on their interests and passions. In addition, she will share how these tools can help teachers to assess skills based on standards that often pose a challenge for students with IEPs or 504 plans.
