Overview

Many suggestions for classroom use of mobile devices, such as online quizzes or presentations, focus on ways to automate tasks that students and educators need to do anyway. But there are numerous possibilities for undertakings that challenge students to apply critical thinking skills, going far beyond this rudimentary use. Join Susan Brooks-Young as she presents and reviews a planning model that will help you think about pushing the boundaries for learning activities using research-based frameworks such as the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy and the TPACK framework. You will walk away with a variety of online resources for personal use and to share with colleagues.

Thank you for this presentation. I particularly liked how you linked ICT use with known models such as Bloom's taxonomy and how you meaured activities through the SAMR model, which I also find very useful when designing activities or choosing tools.
