Mobile devices and social networking have pushed media to the forefront of modern communication. In part because of this and because creating videos and other forms of media can be powerful tools for learning, media creation should also occupy a prominent place in the learning exchanges that occur at school. Join Sam Gliksman as he demonstrates how students can use mobile devices to produce different forms of video that enhance communication and deepen learning. He will draw on examples from his new book "Creating Media for Learning,"and share ways for you to incorporate video creation in your classroom.

Video and audio creation skills are really important for students to master but the message comes first above all! Sam does a great job of pointing this out and giving some guidance on pre and post production of video clips. Great!

I like the concept of creating videos to show learning. There are so many students that become alive with digital learning versus just writing a paper. They can express themselves with the visual learning.
