Great for High Schools and colleges, where most students have a digital device in use. Not sure I would use it for my library lessons in elementary school.

Pulse in the Classroom gives students the ability to communicate in real-time whether they understand or don’t understand a lesson. Students respond every 5 seconds on their own devices, and as often as they want, with the results updating instantaneously.

In parallel, teachers glean insights in real time and can adjust their lesson with a simple glance on any phone, tablet, or PC. Insights are made easy through a teacher dashboard and can be compared across sessions and downloaded for later reference.

In addition to the Pulsing function, Pulse in the Classroom offers educators and students an important array of features, including:

Quizzing and poll functions which allow teachers to test knowledge and comprehension at any point before, during, and after class.
Age specific themes and voting page customizations create fun and unique experiences for every class.
Teachers can upload content for students in the platform, and students can exchange ideas and thoughts with one another through Yammer chat-rooms.
Pulse in the Classroom runs a simple web interface that works on any connected device.
