I NEED to give myself pep talks!! I need to motivate myself so I can have enough in my "tank" to motivate my students. Cultivating relationships is something I pride myself in. Championing the students, losing labels, giving them a clean slate when they come to our school for the first REALLY works!!

I like the teacher preparation before class. I usually come early and play soft jazz because it helps create a calm environment. I think implementing some yoga stretches and meditation would be ideal as well.

Excellent resources included. Make sure you give yourself pep talks throughout the school year so you can remain motivated.
