Very informative! Great for beginners that may be overwhelmed with the format of audacity. Breaks down the tools and basics. Especially appreciate the discussion on when to export audio as wave files vs MP3.

I will be using podcast as a medium to record discussions about chapters from foreign language novels and tv show episodes we will read/view in my advanced German classes. Not sure if we'll be using Audacity®, or GarageBand®, or something from Google, but I imagine many of the principles will be similar. This gets me started. It's going to be fun. The students will love it.
