Technology Integration Using TPACK: Activity Types for Language Arts**
Overview
Are you are using technology as effectively as you could in your Language Arts classroom? Or perhaps you know you need to use technology, but don’t want to simply include technology just for the sake of using technology. Join Steven Anderson as he discusses how teachers can use the TPACK model to create content rich lessons in a few simple steps and, when appropriate, integrate technology more effectively and with much more meaning. The presentation will cover a variety of activity types for the Language Arts classroom, with examples based on Common Core Standards. Once teachers understand how to use the activity types, lesson planning with technology becomes a breeze. Although it is not required, if you are not familiar with TPACK, it might be helpful to also view the webinar titled "Using TPACK as a Framework for Technology Integration." **Separate, related webinars in the Teacher Learning Community address using TPACK along with activity types for the core subjects of Social Studies, Science, and Math.
