About Me: I worked in the world of Human Resources for 16 years until my son was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism. At that time, I quit working and gradually found my way to my new career. I have work in the field of education since 2006 beginning as a bus aide for 2 years, para-educator for 2 1/2 years for the classroom for Children with Severe Autism, then when the teacher position opened I applied for the ATP program and earned the job. I worked as the teacher for 4 years and switched from Tooele County School District to the Salt Lake City School District in July of 2013 and now work as a Functional Academics Self Contained classroom for grades 4-6. I do love learning, sharing knowledge, reading, scrapbooking, spending time with my family. We are also HUGE Disney fanatics. As a family, we spend as much time as possible at Disney World and Disneyland when we are not working! My husband of 24 years puts up with me and we both work in service industries.
