Jennifer began her instructional career in 2006. After four years teaching both Kindergarten and 4th grade, Jennifer became an Instructional Technology Specialist for Lamar Consolidated ISD. Jennifer loves having the opportunity to work with teachers and helping them rekindle their passion for great instruction. She also enjoys helping teachers find innovative ways to engage and challenge students.
In 2014 Jennifer was recognized as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and is currently a consultant with the Northwest Council for Computer Education (NCCE), a Microsoft training partner, as a Professional Learning Specialist. Jennifer earned a BS of Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and a MS of Educational Technology and Leadership from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. When not at work, Jennifer loves spending time with her husband and 2 dogs. She also enjoys watching football, cooking, baking, and hanging out with friends. |
