| About Me: |
I have taught for 40 years. Currently, I teach 4th graders ELA and social studies at Bissonet Plaza, a suburban public school just outside New Orleans. I am passionate about preparing my students for their futures as 21st-century digital citizens. We use web tools such as Edmodo, Skype, Google Hangouts, Google docs, and BrainPOP to do so. I have presented both in person and virtually at many conferences at the state, national, and international level, including LaCUE, METC, AzTEA, TxVSN, TCEA Area 7, ISTE, and the INTEL ICT Conference.
