||I am currently a 4th-8th grade Math/ELL Intervention Teacher in Washington, DC. I work at a school that serves as a model for dual-language education in D.C and nationwide. I am a former university professor. I have taught kindergarten through graduate level students in my 25-year career in public education.
I am an advocate of Dual Language and believe in the positive impact bilingualism can have on a child’s life and their academic performance all while giving them a broader perspective of the world.
My research interests center around dual language for special education students, parental involvement and their access to information.|
