Matthew Pomeroy

Matthew Pomeroy has been teaching health and physical education at Merton Intermediate School in Wisconsin for the past 13 years. During that time, he has developed and implemented a student-centered health education curriculum in a 1:1 Chromebook environment. Matthew uses Google Apps for Education tools to assign work, which his students can complete and turn in utilizing a variety of GAFE tools. He has a strong focus on creating an engaging and empowering classroom environment that can serve as a catalyst for exceptional student work! Matthew also serves on the Wisconsin Health and Physical Education Board of Directors, is the professional development chair of the Midwest District of SHAPE America, and is the co-host of the SHAPE America podcasts
