Andrew Fitzgerald

Andrew Fitzgerald is an Instrumental Music and Multimedia teacher at Franklin Classical Middle School in Long Beach, CA. He earned his Bachelor's in Music Education from Florida State University, and received his Master's degree in Educational Technology and Media Leadership from California State University, Long Beach. Andrew has been teaching for 12 years, helping students discover the joy of music through performance in wind and string ensembles. He is an MIE Expert, Surface Expert, CUE RockStar Teacher, and a big tech geek. Andrew enjoys figuring out the affordances of new and existing technologies, educating students, and sharing how he uses technology in the music classroom.
