Jane Lofton
Jane Lofton, Teacher Librarian "in the wild," has worked as both a high school and middle school librarian. Currently a Google for Education Certified Innovator and Trainer, Jane retired as Mira Costa High School Teacher Librarian in Manhattan Beach, CA in June 2016, and was honored as Sandacre Teacher of the Year by the Senior Class that same month. She consults, teaches workshops, presents regularly at state and national educational conferences, and advocates for education and strong school libraries. Jane is a past president and honorary member of the California School Library Association and current chair of the American Association of School Librarians Social Media Recognitions Task Force. She holds a B.A. from Stanford University, and an M.A. and M.L.S. from the University of Toronto.
