Josh Allen
Josh Allen is an Instructional Technology Facilitator in Papillion, NE, just outside of Omaha. His wife likes to remind him that, in 2000, during his undergraduate time at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, he had to have a partner in his group make their PowerPoint because he didn't know how. Once he got a classroom of his own, he quickly saw the power that technology can have on student learning. Now with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education (from the University of Nebraska - Omaha) and one in Technology in Education (from Lesley University), Josh uses his experiences to guide other teachers to improve instruction in their classroom. From iPads to interactive whiteboards, Josh works with a variety of tools across K-12. He also is on the Nebraska Educational Technology Association's (NETA) Board of Directors and is the organizer of EdCamp Omaha.
