Paula Naugle

Paula Naugle is a newly retired educator with 43 years of elementary classroom experience. She has an MEd in Educational Technology Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University and a BS in elementary education from York College of Pennsylvania. In addition to being a published author and the co-founder and co-organizer of EdCampNOLA, Paula is a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE), a Discovery STAR Educator, and a member of the DEN Community. She was recognized as the LACUE Educator of the Year in 2010, and served as a member of the LACUE board from 2014 to 2019. Paula is also a published author who has presented both in person and virtually at ISTE, LACUE, METC, TCEA, Discovery, and SimpleK12. She is also an ambassador for Seesaw, Edmodo, ReadWorks, Remind, Quizlet, and Simple K12.

Twitter changed my life because:

Twitter changed my life because I was about to retire in 2009. I joined Twitter in February of that same year and began building my personal learning network (PLN). The interactions I have with my PLN members has reignited my career and led to so many wonderful opportunities to collaborate and share that now retirement is the furthest thought from my mind.
