Darren Barkett

Darren Barkett is a former middle school teacher who currently works as an assistant principal at Asheville Middle School in western North Carolina. He enjoys working with teachers, helping them be more effective in the classroom. In his down time, he enjoys playing board games with his daughters and going fishing with his schnauzer. He is also the founder of Helping Teachers Grow, an online site that provides classroom management training and classroom management tools for teachers across the curriculum.
