An experienced educator of over 20 years, Dawn Berkeley currently leads technology integration programming and development as the Director of Educational Technology at St. Albans School, an independent boys school in Washington, DC. Prior to her role at St. Albans, she worked as the Upper School Academic Technology Coordinator and Coordinator of the Global Online Academy program at Sidwell Friends School.
In her current role as EdTech Director, Dawn not only works with students in Grades 4-12, but also leads educators in the integration and implementation of technology into the academic program. In this capacity, she collaborates with colleagues to think about how technology can help personalize and transform the learning experience for all learners -- students and teachers.
Dawn is also the CEO and Founder of Carrera & Co. Media, LLC an EdTech Consulting Firm, where she enjoys the chance of connecting with schools and leaders possessing a broad range of needs and interests. She has been recognized as an Apple Teacher and holds certifications as a Raspberry Pi and Google Level 1 and 2 Educator and previously served as a member of the Leadership Council of the Discovery Educators Network (DEN). Recently, she completed the coveted International Society for Technology Education (ISTE) certification, further empowering her work with educators as they leverage technology to engage students in authentic and impactful learning.
