Last November 3rd, in some countries the "International Sandwcih Day" was celebrated. In Argentina, where I live, there were lots of chefs preparing different kinds of sandwiches, which of course, we tried to cook.

Now, you might wonder what this has to do with teaching. Preparing my week classes I happen to find the "sandwich technique" which is very much used in language teaching. It says that both bread layers are the positive feedback you give to your students while the "content" is the constructive message you want to emphasize or transmit.

This has been really new for me as I had never heard this technique or method before, therefore, I'm ready to start implementing it.

Have you used it before? Do you think it can be useful for you?

Looking forward to reading your comments.

I used for my writing class. It helps students to write sequencing as that is one skill that my students need to master for their writing test.
