I heard about Digital Badging a couple of years ago at a conference. As a new member earning badges through simpleK12, I am curious about implementing a similar process in my classroom.

Would anyone have information about where to start? Resources? Advice?

Thank you!

That's interesting. I have done something like this with playing the recorder (karate belts) but hadn't thought to create digital badges or apply it to other areas.

Actually I went to conference where they were selling badges for different things that kid can accomplish and add it to a chain and put it in a book bag, I think it has positive and negative effects.

Are those Spirit Sticks? The students at my school love those. But I think one of the attractive ideas with Digital Badging is that the students aren't buying something.
