I am a school counselor and I use Twitter to post updates about the counseling program and guidance curriculum for parents and the community. I also write articles for the local newspaper. I have even sent audio clips to the local radio station to promote awareness of special events like Red Ribbon Week. Finally, I have a newsletter for every lesson that goes to parents, with suggestions for follow-up questions, related books and/or website, and family activities that can reinforce the lesson's objective. Hope this helps!

I like using the message app on Classdojo.

I can send out individual messages or group messsage.

The parents do have to connect, but you can use email or cell phone.

It gets message out immediately.

I love it for behavioral situations because I can type in a quick message and hit send.

Do not have to take time to look up anything as I keep Dojo on all day

We have Friday newsletters that are emailed out to all parents. One from the school with upcoming events and one from your child's grade level with updates on what students are learning the next week. Most teachers use class dojo or the remind app to message parents. A few grade levels have a class facebook page for updates as well.

I love using Classdojo.

It is an online system used for Classroom behavior, but it has a neat little thing where you can message parents. They have to sign up with their email or cell #, but I keep it on all day and can do instant messages without having to stop and look up a number or take time to find email and message. It is quick and easy

Hi,

Firstly, thank you for sharing your tips and experience on how to communicate effectively with parents.

I also like to use this nice app Classdojo to inform parents about some events, changes, etc.

also, I like to read some blogs, articles, and books on how to communicate in teaching as with children as with their parents.

I can share this article https://examples.essays.vip/communicative-approach-in-english-teaching-36/ about communicative techniques or you can find something more relevant for you.

Hope it works!
