I totally agree with you. I love the share resources and you have added great resources so far that I have encountered. I like the forum as well because there is so much that I learned from others. I think sharing and discussing with other teachers as well as learning what other teachers are doing in other states, or countries. I also enjoy webinars because I can watch them as many times as I need it to learn while listening. Great place to be!

I have seen a lot of different uses of OneNote in the classroom. Some teachers use it as as assessment notebook... a place to curate all the student learning data. These teachers are able to use the tools (like audio/video record) to capture running records, problem solving strategies and so much more. You can import spread sheets, collect qualitative and quantitative data, and beyond. Having all the data in one place makes things so much more efficient.

I have also seen teachers that use OneNote Class Notebook as a digital learning platform- this supports digital work flow and serves as a resource for students in the class and beyond. :)

As a tech coach, I use OneNote to document everything I do. I have tabs for professional development I've attended and presented; resources I've shared; equipment inventory; programs I admin; and links to every teacher at each school with documentation of services provided to them. I create "to-do" lists to help me remember tasks that need completed and check them off inside OneNote. I can access previous year OneNotes as a reference for follow up trainings in the current year.

Schools could use it as a digital portfolio for students. Students could build Notebooks that will follow them throughout their school year. What a great gift to parents at the end of a year or at graduation. Digital snapshots of their child's progress through time.

It would be a great way for teachers to collaborate and share resources on specific topics or thematic units. They could access those each year and add more updated resources.
