Thanks to Kyle Calderwood for presenting this Skype webinar on Thursday, 7/21. It was great to have a review of the Skype interface and was a reminder to me to update my profile and look for new projects and even author presentations for the new school year. I have had authors present to students in previous years and that was amazing!

I have always wanted to try a Mystery Skype and it was great to hear more about it. While I attended the webinar, a teacher in the TitanPad back-channel asked for a collaborative partner. We have been in touch and her class fits the bill for an ongoing global project that I do. Awesome!

I was in that session as well and loved the shared info. Glad you connected with someone. I need to spend sometime getting together as well and make some connections down the road. Good luck!

I was also in the webinar. I thought Kyle did a great job. I am looking forward to learning more about using Skype with my students and taking some field trips. It opens so many doors to students who perhaps wouldn't be able to have these rich experiences.

Awesome webinar! I wasn't part of the live webinar, but gained several new and awesome ideas from watching it OnDemand! Thank you Kyle!

Thank you Kyle for your presentation on Skype. My 2nd grade classes for the past 5 years have been "e-pals" with another teacher in New York (I'm in North Carolina), but this year she retired and I moved to 1st grade. Since the protocol we'd been using was difficult to set up and connections could be tricky, I decided to forego any video-conferences, etc. this year as I get more accustomed to my new grade level.

Well, Kyle, you have re-ignited that excitement for introducing my students to new adventures through virtual field trips and Mystery Skypes! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your insight!

I really encourage to say only once thank you and reply with a quote. If not is it difficult that we generate a group conversation. If you respond 10 thank you in the same topic or say thank you and add something more on the topic so other can also learn from you.

Hi! It is great to have "mystery people" around. I participated in one last Sunday with my friend from Egypt. Students were nice and eager to learn! Way to go!! Smiles :)
