Nearpod can be a great asset. I have a school user account purchased for me by my district. Since I have used it for several years, I now have a library of lessons for almost all of the lessons I teach. I periodically use Nearpod in class. However, I make the lessons available as student-paced assignments so students can review a lesson, or even see a lesson that they may have missed due to an absence. (not sure if this option is available with a basic account, but it might be worth looking into)

I agree. I love Nearpod. I started using it last year with the free version and then paid myself for the Pro version. It's a great interactive tool.

The Nearpod Lesson in Social Studies for Teaching Tolerance Grades 3-5, "Young Immigrant Stories" is wonderful and free!
