Do any of you turn physical books into ebooks?  What do you use?  Most of my books are digital now.  But, I have a few that aren't.

I still prefer books. It is difficult for me to read on the computer long text. For my students I give them the two options. My school has a site for e-books.

I was checking the new uploads in the shared resources. I found this great links. I think this will answer a few of your questions. I hope it helps you.

Turning a physical book into a digital book, in most cases violates copyright laws.  It is a very sticky situation again one that I avoid.  I find some online and wonder, "Do they have permission for this?"

Yes, I agree. We have to sign a copyright paper at my district reminding us not to infringe on this. You would need to find the books online to use or contact the company before you changed them over.
