I completely agree about WMM.  I like the Corel suite the best - but it is really pricy.  Currently I use Cyberlink's PowerDirector, and I'm pretty pleased with it.

Movie Maker is my most used software as of this posting. I have heard of Corel but not used it.

How long have you used Cyberlink's PowerDirector? What do you like best about it? Is it easy to use?

Thanks.  I've never heard of that.  I'll investigate!

Thank you everyone for your thoughts. I use iMovie or Movie Maker. They both meet the basic needs for my classroom. I know our older students use Corel.

I still use MovieMaker. It will be great, though, to learn new movie editing tools. I see that Corel was mentioned here; that will be my next and new venture. Thank you. :)

Thanks for the options. I have never used either the Corel Suite or Cyberlink's PowerDirector but will investigate both. I have purchased and used Pinnacle Studios for the past few years but with each upgrade it becomes harder to navigate. Have you found these programs easy to use?
