Hello!! I'm a brand new Instructional Coach. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the best resources for this role. This site is fabulous for resources to share with my school, but are there any about the role of coaching itself? Thank you!!

Have you looked at any of Robert Marzano's resources? I am fairly certain he has something for coaching.

I am an instructional coach as well! We've adopted the Jim Knight coaching model, and if you don't have a clearly defined model, highly recommend looking into one! Elena Aguilar is another great resource. They both have a tremendous amount of coaching materials. Role clarity is a huge one - clearly define what is in your role and what isn't, and keep clarifying all year long. Create some sort of coaching menu, so teachers know what they can contact you for if they need a push. What has been working well for you?
