I gave this webinar a rating of 4 because I had a difficult time getting into it at the beginning (maybe 1st 4 or 5 slides). I loved how Anderson showed examples of his own digital footprints but found myself daydreaming a little at the length of time he spent talking about each slide. I also would have liked 1 slide to summarize how to Google yourself with a list of the different searches to try. Despite these feelings, I got some great ideas for solidifying my digital foot print. Steven has inspired me to start a blog and to anchor my digital footprint on I am glad for the support in my belief that we shouldn't be afraid of the online world but instead to embrace it and shape our foot prints by taking positive action. Lastly, I loved the last piece of advice that no matter what you decide to do it should be fun not work. I have been blessed to find a job I love and in which I have fun most of the time. I am the Technology Integration Specialist at my school and I am finding this position really rewarding.

I'd never heard of the importance of creating a positive presence on the internet as opposed to resisting posting anything as an educator. I appreciated the suggestions he gave as to how one would do that.

Stevenís approach to controlling a personís online presence is to take personal responsibility to manage what pops up first when someone conducts a search on them.
